Basic operations required to configure Huawei switches

First, query the port where the IP is located

Log in to the gateway and query the MAC address corresponding to the IP address and the corresponding port

d, log in to the corresponding switch on GE5/0/20 port, and use the mac address to query which port the server corresponding to the IP is connected to on the Layer 2 switch.

qos lr cir 10240 cbs 10240 is to limit the port outbound direction traffic 10240kbps (equal to 10Mbps)

e, display this to see the configuration of the switch port. You can see that the 10M bandwidth limit rule has been added to the inbound and outbound directions of the switch.

Remarks: If the GigabitEthernet Gigabit interface is used, the traffic-policy can be added directly according to the preset rules of the switch. The qos rule needs to see the particle size after cir, which is usually kbps, but different switch versions and particle sizes. are different.

The arp information is operated on the gateway device, and the operation should be cautious

When binding, you need to enter the complete information in the format:

arp static + IP + MAC address + vid number (Vlan number) + Layer 2 uplink gateway port connected to the machine

In general, the vid number does not match the actual one, and an error will be reported, but in order to avoid misuse, please confirm the information before operation:

Error: The IP address is not on the same network segment as the specified interface.
