PON general monitoring of the general size of the monitoring is rarely used, mainly cost is high, but in a relatively large monitoring system or remote monitoring is quite an advantage, it is worth a try.
As for how to do it? To start with the components of PON, it consists of three parts: OLT, ONU and optical splitter. In addition to these, optical fiber, power supply equipment, cabinet and other equipment should be selected.
So just like our general network, PON also needs to purchase various equipment in advance to start construction. It seems to be very simple, but in fact it is still somewhat complicated. In particular, the choice of OLT and ONU must be appropriate, and it is better to find experienced masters in construction.
Secondly, the network equipment connected with the ONU also needs power supply, which requires the electrician, but the ONU with the PoE function, such as the EPS5081, can save the extra power construction.
