Micron MTA18ASF4G72PDZ-3G2 is a 32GB DDR4 registered DIMM rated at 3200 MT/s (PC4-25600) with CL22 timing. It is dual rank and uses x8 DRAM, with ECC on a 72-bit bus. In Micron's numbering, MTA18 means 18 DRAM packages on the module, and the -3G2 suffix marks the 3200 MT/s speed grade.

Micron has shipped this module in several die revisions, and you will see suffixes such as -3G2E1, -3G2F1 and -3G2R on labels and listings. They share the same capacity, rank and speed. Micron's distributor data shows the E1 and F1 revisions as no longer manufactured, so stock on the market today can be any revision. If your environment requires one specific revision, tell us before you order.

Before ordering:

• This is a 2Rx8 module. Many 32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMMs are 2Rx4, and some servers restrict mixing x4 and x8 modules, so check what is already installed.
• Speed depends on the platform: 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable and AMD EPYC 7002/7003 support 3200 MT/s, while 2nd Gen Xeon Scalable runs DDR4 at up to 2933 MT/s.
• Do not mix RDIMMs with LRDIMMs or unbuffered DIMMs.
