SK hynix HMAA4GR7AJR8N-XN is a 32GB DDR4 registered DIMM rated at 3200 MT/s (PC4-25600) with CL22 timing. It is dual rank with x8 DRAM, runs at 1.2V and includes ECC. In SK hynix's numbering, the R8 in the middle of the part number points to x8 devices and the XN suffix marks the 3200 MT/s speed grade.

This part is a close sibling of HMAA4GR7CJR8N-XN, which uses a different die revision but has the same capacity, rank and speed. The two are separate part numbers, so if your organization has qualified one, tell us before ordering. Module labels may also carry extra characters after -XN that identify the build.

Before ordering:

• Check the width of installed memory. Many 32GB DDR4-3200 RDIMMs are 2Rx4, and some servers do not allow x4 and x8 modules to be mixed.
• DDR4-3200 runs at full speed on 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable and AMD EPYC 7002/7003 platforms. 2nd Gen Xeon Scalable systems run it at up to 2933 MT/s.
• Do not mix RDIMMs with LRDIMMs or unbuffered memory.
• If you rely on HPE, Dell or Lenovo support, check whether an OEM-branded part is required.
