Dell AA799110 64GB DDR4-3200 2Rx4 RDIMM Memory Upgrade

Dell AA799110 is a 64GB DDR4-3200 registered DIMM from Dell's memory upgrade line. It is dual rank with x4 DRAM, runs at 1.2V and has ECC. Dell's own product name notes that it is not compatible with Skylake processors (1st Gen Xeon Scalable), and distributors list it with the Dell manufacturer number SNPP2MYXC/64G.

Dell's catalog data names five AMD EPYC PowerEdge systems for this module: the R6515, R7515, R6525, R7525 and C6525. Some distributor listings also mention Precision 7820 and 7920 workstations. That does not match Dell's PowerEdge list, so we do not include those models. If your server is not on the list, ask us before ordering.

Before ordering:

• Match the rank and organization (2Rx4) of the memory already installed.
• Do not install it in Skylake-based systems; Dell flags it as incompatible.
• Keep registered and load-reduced DIMMs separate.
• Memory speed depends on the processor and the number of DIMMs per channel, so the full 3200 MT/s is not reached in every configuration.
