Cisco Catalyst 9200L 24-Port PoE+ 4x1G SFP Uplink Switch C9200L-24P-4G-E

The Cisco Catalyst C9200L-24P-4G-E is a 24-port Gigabit PoE+ access switch for branch offices and small floors that want Catalyst 9000 features at a lower price than the C9300. Its four 1G SFP uplinks are fixed, which keeps cost down where 10G uplinks are not needed.

All 24 ports support PoE+. The default PWR-C5-600WAC power supply provides 370W of PoE, and adding an optional second PWR-C5-600WAC raises that to 740W, which also gives power redundancy. The fans are fixed and redundant. Cisco rates the switch at 56 Gbps switching capacity and 41.67 Mpps forwarding.

Up to 8 C9200L switches can stack with StackWise-80 using the C9200L-STACK-KIT, which is sold separately. Stack members must be C9200L models with the same license level. It runs Cisco IOS XE with the Network Essentials license, which covers Layer 2 switching and basic routing (static, RIP and OSPF routed access). You can manage it from the CLI, the built-in WebUI or Cisco Catalyst Center, or monitor it from the Meraki dashboard.

Licensing needs attention on a resale purchase. Cisco software licenses (Network Essentials/Advantage and Cisco DNA subscriptions) and Smart Net support generally do not transfer with resold hardware without Cisco's approval. Plan to buy a new Cisco DNA (Catalyst) subscription and support contract through Cisco or a Cisco partner if you need them, and confirm what is required for your software version before deploying.
