HPE P50312-B21 is a 64GB DDR5-4800 registered Smart Memory kit that HPE lists for its Gen11 servers based on AMD EPYC processors. The module is dual rank with x4 DRAM and is rated at CAS 40-39-39 with EC8 error correction. PartSurfer returns P56153-001 as its spare part.

HPE's DDR5 Smart Memory QuickSpecs list this kit in the AMD section, while the similar P43331-B21 is listed for Intel. The two share the same headline specs but carry different part numbers, so order the one that matches your processor. • PartSurfer describes the spare P56153-001 with a PC5-5200 speed label. The option kit is sold as DDR5-4800, and it runs at the speed the processor and installed memory allow.
• Do not mix x4 and x8 modules or different DIMM types in one server.
• When modules of different speeds are mixed, HPE says all memory runs at the slowest speed.
