The HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 is HPE's 1U, two-socket rack server for Intel's 4th and 5th Generation Xeon Scalable processors. The server takes one or two processors with up to 64 cores each. It has 32 DDR5 DIMM slots, 16 per processor, and HPE lists a maximum of 8.0TB using 256GB RDIMMs at 5600 or 4800 MT/s. The 8 SFF chassis uses Basic Carrier drives on a tri-mode U.3 backplane, offered in x1 and x4 versions, so the same bays can serve SAS, SATA or NVMe drives. Storage controllers are HPE's Gen11 MegaRAID family: the MR408i-o, MR416i-o and MR216i-o in OCP form factor, the MR416i-p and MR216i-p PCIe cards, and the SR932i-p. Intel VROC is available for software RAID.

There is no embedded LAN on this model. Networking comes from an OCP 3.0 card or a PCIe adapter chosen with the build. Expansion is PCIe 5.0. Flex Slot power supplies range from 500W to 1800-2200W and include a 1600W -48VDC unit. Management is through iLO 6.
