Refurbished Gen10 and Gen10 Plus systems (DL360, DL380) run DDR4 and are the practical choice for most virtualization and storage workloads. Gen11 models (DL320, DL360, DL380 and the AMD-based DL385) take DDR5 and are configured to order.

The base SKU sets the chassis and drive cage: 8 SFF, 24 SFF or 12 LFF. Processors, HPE Smart Memory, drives, Smart Array or MR controllers, OCP network adapters and power supplies are added on top.
