HPE Aruba Switches

HPE Aruba CX switches share one operating system, AOS-CX, from the entry CX 6000 to the stackable CX 6300, so a configuration written for one family carries over to the next. This range lists them by HPE SKU with port count, PoE budget and uplinks on every page.

As a guide: CX 6000 and 6100 are fixed Layer 2 access switches for branches and small sites; CX 6200F adds VSF stacking and static and access-level routing; CX 6300F and 6300M add faster uplinks (SFP56, 25/50G), larger PoE budgets and full Layer 3. Check whether you need Class 4 (30W) or Class 6 (60W) PoE, and whether the SKU ships with power supplies.
